superb thought, I wanted to write over this, but I must appreciate your writing. The main problem is we study for the sake of study and not to get knowledge. No student has ever told me that he is studying Pakistan affairs because he wants to know how we got in here. They just passing classes ’cause one day they have to earn bread as those before them has been doing. Now the things we are taught, I would just focus on one, the Ideology of Pakistan, why we after more than 60 years of education still has to argu and debate on TV channels about our basics and why Jinnah demanded for a separate country. When was the phrase Pakistan ka matlab kia, was added to our text books. Is it really what was it meant to be or a projected vision of a military dictator. There are many things. We just need to focus on, I even feel strange when kids studying in so called modern English medium school, cant even sing national anthem properly, and this is called modernization. Unless we adhere to our basics, roots and education that has a purpose in itself and not a mean to purpose is promulgated, we cant prosper and witness we are not.

I agree, what I have seen is may be we been ruled over for long and this is the reason for this self pleasing attitude. We never want to get out of our comfort zones. The British rule has taught us some critical lessons, and one was a sense of less attachment towards this land. Though it was our, but we let it to be Britons. Now, when they have left and its been more than 60 years we are own our own but still, we are not accepting this land and country to be our home. We still when it comes to our personal gains put it in the back benches. You talk about big thing sacrifice, and stuff. I say lets start from not spitting on the roads. I have seen people never do this at home but feel it more like a duty to spit on the street. These are behaviors which we need to change. Though there are other reasons, like our theocratic culture, where a mulla never let a common man grow his vision. I do not know, why we don’t step out of our self created shells and look out for answers we never do that, and just let things happen to us, and there our main focus is just to get through it even if it involves stepping over a fellow country men.

it seems that the court is not under the legal laws and its reacting like that the law is running by a one man or by politicians. now the main thing that in my view is the president of Islamic republic Pakistan wants to apply his own laws.. looks like the is not only the president but a one man show in Pakistan…. like the Governor Raj in the Punjab and the barred Sharif brothers from contesting the election he also changed the IG Punjab.. SIMPLY there remains no law in Pakistan.

Though some kind of truce has prevailed in the region after Israel’s barbaric attempt to curb Hamas, still I believe this may be just another small ambush to the more cruel plans. Huntington is no more with us but I think his theory about ‘Clash of Civilization’ is going to prevail for long. The wars of Ideology has been over for long and now, different societies, culture and even communities are standing in the arena with their depleting endurance and increased thirst towards the scarce resources of this planet. What I feel at times is what just needed her is a little effort not to restore peace but to start another controversy. We all have heard of the wolf and lamb’s tale. Where the wolf was looking for just another reason to slaughter the poor lamb.
